The Denver chapter of green drinks was the first in Colorado and was launched in June 2005 by Josh Ward and Jeff Bartosik. Courtney George of cg design house joined the green drinks denver team in June of 2006 as an organizer and their graphic designer. While originally centered around green building, architecture and land planning, our attendance has expanded over the years to represent a broader scope of sustainable business, issues and practices. In January 2010 we began a partnership with our friends at ReDirect Guide with the intention of enlarging our circles, expanding our monthly networking events to cover a broader range of topics and featured businesses, and bringing together a more diverse group of people each month to share thoughts and ideas on sustainability and business.

Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up for a beer at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. We have a lively mixture of people and always a different crowd making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity.
